Isabella Mary "Bell" Young Richards

Isabella Mary Young [Bell] was born on the 25th of February, 1865 in Three Mile [now Perry], Utah located in Box Elder County. She was the sixth child of Thomas Cunningham [Thomas crossed the plains in 1852 in a wagon company] and Mary Hay Young [Mary crossed the ocean on the ship "Enoch Train" and crossed the plains in 1856 in a handcart company]. . Both of her parents had been born in Scotland and knew each other there.

She was baptized on the 12th of April, 1874 in Utah.

At the age of 20 she became the second wife of Myron Jon Richards, son of Franklin Dewy Richards, the apostle and wife, Mary Thompson Richards. She took her endowments out, was sealed to her parents [along with all of her siblings] and sealed to her husband all in the same day- April 29, 1885. Logan Temple. Logan, Cache, Utah.

She bore him five children: Hyrum on the 5th of August, 1886- Elmer Thomas on the 31st of August, 1891- Florence on 3rd of November 1896- Glenn Young on the 17th of February, 1899 and LeGrande born on Sunday, November 1, 1901.

The delivery of LeGrande was difficult. Bell called Myron to rush to her. He had been at a conference and didn't arrive until it was too late. LeGrande was delivered with instruments; born dead and Bell later died at 7pm. She was buried on the 13th of November in Brigham City, Box Elder, Utah.
